Mario is the Chair of the StateCover Board, having joined in 2025 as an Industry Director. He is also Chair of the People & Culture Committee and a member of the Investment and Risk & Compliance Committees.
A seasoned executive across the financial services industry, Mario has deep general insurance knowledge inclusive of reinsurance across workers compensation, commercial and personal lines gained over his 20 years in group executive and chief executive officer (CEO) roles.
He is currently a non-executive director for Capricorn Mutual Ltd, Capricorn Society, Auto & General Insurance Ltd, RSE boards of Insignia Financial Ltd, and MIPS Insurance.
Mario has previously held CEO roles at Guild Group and CGU Insurance, and was an executive at Insurance Australia Group.
Andrew joined the StateCover Board in November 2020. He is Chair of the Risk & Compliance Committee and a member of the People & Culture Committee.
Having begun his career in local government in 1983, Andrew has been the CEO of Riverina Water County Council for six years. He is a past board member of LG Professionals NSW.
Zac joined StateCover’s Board in 2025 and is a member of the Audit and Investment Committees. He was elected mayor of the Municipality of Hunter’s Hill in 2021 and again in 2024, following nine years of service as a councillor.
Zac has also served as a director of NGOs, funds management and investment banking firms, and peak bodies, most recently as Chair of Equestrian Australia. He has retained senior roles in business development, capital raising and promotion of financial products and services, deal structuring, client relationship management and market activity reporting.
Zac brings extensive understanding of the property market, particularly in key growth areas of Sydney, and an in-depth knowledge of infrastructure, planning, politics, and media.
Tracey Morris joined the StateCover Board in November 2023 as an LGNSW Councillor Director. She has been an elected representative of Leeton Shire Council for the past 13 years and sits on the Western Region Planning Panel. Tracey’s background is in accounting and finance in both public and private agricultural companies. She is a member of the Audit and Investment Committees.
Sam joined the StateCover Board in November 2019 as an LGNSW Councillor Director. He is Chair of the Technology Committee and a member of the Risk & Compliance Committee.
Sam has been a councillor at Ku-ring-gai Council since 2017, including a period as mayor, and spent five years on the board of the Northern Sydney Regional Organisation of Councils. He previously worked in finance, strategy, risk and assurance roles in the energy industry.
Dr Helen Nott is an experienced company director and chair focused on the health, wealth and care sectors. She is passionate about supporting innovative, resilient organisations that deliver value to stakeholders and strive to make a difference in their communities. She has considerable insurance experience, including in property and casualty, health, and life segments.
Dr Nott is currently a non-executive director and Chair of the Audit Committee of Australian Unity Limited and various subsidiaries. She is also a non-executive director of Commonwealth Games Australia Ltd and Australian Commonwealth Games Foundation Ltd, and a board member of the Go Vita Group and the New Zealand Accident Compensation Corporation. Previous board appointments include QBE Australia Pacific, Healthdirect Australia Ltd, and Paralympics Australia Ltd. In her executive career, Dr Nott held leadership roles in strategy, investment and innovation with QBE Australia and New Zealand, and IAG.
Dr Nott is a fellow of the Australian Institute of Company Directors and a member of Chief Executive Women.
Todd Redwood joined the StateCover Board in November 2023 as an LGNSW Councillor Director. He is a member of the Risk & Compliance Committee.
Todd has been a councillor at Armidale Regional Council since December 2021, and deputy mayor since January 2022. He represents the council as Chair of the Board for Project Zero30, a collaboration aiming to bring the LGA to net-zero greenhouse gas emissions by 2030.
Todd is also the Global Managing Director – Consumer, Retail and Food Sector for the British Standards Institution.
Craig Wrightson joined StateCover’s Board in November 2017. He is a non-executive director, Chair of the Audit Committee, and a member of the People & Culture Committee.
He has over 30 years of experience in local government, including 12 as General Manager of the metropolitan Lane Cove Council and has served on boards of local government insurance pool companies.
Andrew joined the StateCover Board in May 2023. He is a non-executive director, chair of the Investment Committee, and member of the Technology and People & Culture Committees.
Andrew was a Lane Cove councillor for seven years, including a period as mayor. With his background in financial planning and investments, Andrew is the owner-director of a financial planning business, and was vice president of the Northern Sydney Regional Organisation of Councils.
