Jann Gardner is the Chair of StateCover’s Board, Chair of the People and Culture Committee, and a member of the Audit Committee. She joined StateCover as an Industry Director in 2012 having spent 27 years as a legal practitioner in the insurance industry, including 15 as partner in a national insurance law firm. She currently sits on the boards of several other APRA regulated entities.

Khal Asfour joined the StateCover Board in April 2021 as the LGNSW Chief Executive Director, and is a member of the Audit Committee. Khal was a Bankstown City Councillor from 2004 and then Mayor from 2011. He was elected as the inaugural Mayor of the merged Canterbury Bankstown Council in 2017, a role he held until 2023. He remains a councillor. Khal is a director and vice president of Local Government NSW (LGNSW), a director and senior vice president of Southern Sydney Regional Organisation of Councils (SSROC), and a director of Bankstown RSL. He has also been on the board of Local Government Super.

Linda Bostock headed StateCover for 12 years as CEO and Managing Director and was a director on the Board for 11. Linda rejoined the StateCover Board in 2023 following a 12 month sabbatical and is now the Chair of the Investment Committee and a member of the Risk Committee and People and Culture Committee. Her work experience includes over 30 years in the insurance industry in a range of director, executive and operational management roles, specialising in workers compensation and work health and safety.

Andrew Crakanthorp joined the StateCover Board in November 2020 and is a member of the Investment and Risk Committees. He began his career in local government in 1983 and has been the General Manager of Riverina Water County Council since 2018. He is a Justice of the Peace and a past board member of LG Professionals NSW.

Tracey Morris joined the StateCover Board in November 2023 as an LGNSW Councillor Director. She has been an elected representative of Leeton Shire Council for the past 11 years. Tracey’s background is in accounting and finance in both public and private agricultural companies.

Sam Ngai joined the StateCover Board in November 2019 as an LGNSW Councillor Director. He has been a Councillor at Ku-ring-gai Council since September 2017 and is now the Mayor. He is a director and former vice-president of Northern Sydney Regional Organisation of Councils (NSROC). He is a member of StateCover’s Audit Committee.

Todd Redwood joined the StateCover Board in November 2023 as an LGNSW Councillor Director. He has been a Councillor Deputy Mayor of Armidale Regional Council since January 2022 and represents that organisation as a Board member of Project Zero30, a collaboration aiming to bring the Armidale Region’s LGS to net zero greenhouse gas emissions by 2030. Todd is the Managing Director, Global Food and Retail sector for British Standards Institution.

Craig Wrightson is a Council Member Director who joined the StateCover Board in November 2017. He has over 25 years of experience in local government, including nine as General Manager of Lane Cove Council, and on boards of local government insurance pool companies. Craig is Chair of StateCover’s Audit Committee, and a member of the People and Culture Committee and Investment Committee.

Andrew Zbik is an LGNSW Councillor Director who joined the StateCover Board in May 2023. He has been a Lane Cove Councillor since 2017 and has also served as Mayor. Andrew’s background is in financial planning and investments, and he is owner-director of a financial planning business. He is a member of StateCover’s Investment Committee.
