At StateCover every Council is allocated a case manager dedicated to managing all its claims. This ensures continuity and understanding of individual Council organisations and procedures which facilitates optimal client service.
Member Councils are strongly encouraged to report both incidents and claims via the StateCover on-line system. This ensures an immediate response with commencement of injury management processes as soon as possible to encourage an early return to work.
Councils are responsible for developing their own Return to Work program outlining procedures that will apply when an employee is injured in accordance with WorkCover requirements. StateCover will work with Council to ensure their program is both legislatively compliant and in accordance with StateCover’s Injury Management Program.
Using this coordinated approach member Councils can be confident their employees will receive the best attention possible to ensure their recovery and return to work.
StateCover provides all members access to the Claims Analysis and Tracking System (CATS) that allows Councils to access comprehensive qualitative and quantitative data relating to all workers compensation claims lodged with StateCover.
